This morning I woke up and walked to the scale. I felt confident in what I would see. Then I saw that I was one pound less than the previous week's weigh in. I know weight can fluctuate a few pounds from day to day, but that digital 151 definitely makes me feel like I'm making progress.
I'm adding an exercise time to my daily routine. One hour daily, before breakfast, I will walk, bike, skateboard, or unicycle around the neighborhood. The mornings are the best time to do this to give your metabolism a jump start.
I will post my weight progress once a week. It's better to weigh yourself weekly instead of daily. True progress is more noticeable if you only check once a week.
